So not too long ago, I used to be a housewife. I loved it.
Still miss it.
I used to blog when I could. I did crafts, glued my fingers together often... and sometimes spent $50 on a project that would've cost $10 to buy premade. I made lunch and dinner every single day for my husband. I even home schooled my eldest son, as he dealt with separation anxiety. By him I mean me, but that's neither here nor there. Moving on...
I relished in finding new cleaning techniques. This was before the brilliance of Pinterest!! (OH HOW I LOVE THEE). I googled and googled... and googled some more. To this day, I can whip a ball point ink stain out of a shirt in 5 minutes (hair spray and shaving cream, who knew?!). But I've moved into the professional world in the last 3 years and while I don't sleep in too often, have little time to make that freaking cute Star Wars terrarium with the handmade Ewoks... I still have the same core values and need to tell the world about what exactly is in this brain. I'm sorry, I'm a millennial. I can't help it if I'm self-absorbed, it's society and my parents fault. But wait.. SELFIE?
I think I'm going to be changing this blog up a little. It's no longer about a housewife. It's about a almost 30 professional woman, trying to make sense of the world while not burning her house down. Here I will post information about things that make my life:
4) Worth Living
I hope you enjoy my posts. And if you are a subscriber, I'm sorry if I've completely veered off track and aren't what you signed up for. I promise, it'll be interested. Stay Tuned.

I'm FINALLY BACK! :D So today's tip is a very simple tip I enjoy using on regular basis. It's easy, convenient and makes life a little easier. How many times do you empty your trash cans only to come back to it an hour later to throw something away and discovering you forgot to reline it? UGH! I do this pretty often. Then whatever needs to be thrown away has to be put somewhere until I reline my trash can. Which depending on my mood lasts anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 days! Gross.. I know. But it's the TRUTH. So something I remembered seeing in my mom's office as a child sprung into memory. The night cleaners would leave 2-3 extra trash bags in the trash can. BRILLIANT! So I decided.. maybe I should do that since I'm such a negligent re-liner.. And voila! It works. So my tip? BEFORE you put the trash bag in the trash can, fold two or three unopened trash bags and stash them on the bottom. Then reline. That easy!

ee, I've absolutely dropped the ball on my blog. :( Please forgive me! I have just been so busy with so many things.. it was like a non-stop crazy party. I am so bummed, mostly because I had so much to share and I really enjoy blogging. First, we've had lots and lots of family emergencies that happened all the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010. My husbands aunt (whom he was very close with) lost a 6 year battle with cervical cancer. It was heartbreaking. Then all through the new year, my grandfather had been diagnosed with colon cancer. But the worst news was that he pulled through fine, only to have passed away due to complications of allergies from medication. On top of that, I have been super busy homeschooling my son and trying to start a business. All in all, it's been a rough few months, but one thing that tragedy and heartbreak does is make you appreciate your loved ones and your life. I have to say that the sovereignty of God has assured me the most. That no matter what's going on, God is not swayed or moved. I may be swayed and deterred, even lost at times but He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Well, what to look forward to? Well, many many good things to come. I am going to be busy and keeping you all filled in. Unfortunately, I have many finished projects and no PHOTOS! How lame am I? I will try to remedy that somehow. I have a "New Year's Resolution" list going, and I certainly want to keep that in mind as this summer progresses. I am a quarter of a way with one of my items. I have a gym membership and have been working out. I hope to start losing weight soon, as I also have a bit of a diet change. I also also also am excited to say, I'm a proud owner of an acoustic guitar. So YAY! And I am looking forward to me and my husband's 5 year anniversary. I want to do something BIG, and so I will be saving money and doing a lot of fundraising in the mean time. I have 3 and half months. I also have the awkward task of keeping it all a SECRET from the hubby. :D Please please, GIVE ME ANY SUGGESTIONS YOU HAVE!!!!! All in all, I am hoping to get this thing back on track! Bye Bye For NOW!

While I was googling a few items that peaked my interest, I came across a very nice blog. The nice lady who runs the blog has free digital scrapbooking elements for you to try out. I'm not that great at it, but so far I've enjoyed it. Here's a peak of what I've done so far.
